How Grief Led Me To Mediumship, Channeling, And The Akashic Records | With Nancy Shapiro

The next day I happened to be in the town where I substitute - I’m a substitute teacher. I was substituting in middle school that was a mile from my Mom’s cemetery where she was buried with my grandparents.

And so on my lunch break, I ran there and I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, I can connect with my Mom. I’m so excited. Let me see.’ And nobody’s ever run excited to a cemetery, but me. I drove there fast down the street and I got there and I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, like I’m ready. I’m here. I think I can connect with you.’

I don’t know, I did get thoughts. I did get like their voices in my head. And the most interesting thing was I almost heard another aunt, my grandma’s sister.

My aunt Ruthie came through and she was always kind of sassy. She’s such a wonderful person and she came through and she’s like, ‘What in the world are you doing? Why are you wasting your time talking to us? Live your life and forget about us. We had our good life. You live your little good life and go on.’

And that for me, that was validation that it was true because I hadn’t thought of aunt Ruthie in forever. And the fact that she was saying, ‘Get out of the cemetery, go back to school and do something fun.’ It was so funny.
